Recovery and retry contracts
A missing response is an unknown outcome, especially after publication. Retry the exact original request before starting a new publication. HEAD and OPTIONS never mutate. Reading a draft or review does not itself publish.

Retries do not extend expiry. Expired word-keyboard reviews can be replaced only by explicitly reviewing the saved branch again while its keyboard session is active. Different branches cannot silently replace an active review. Discard invalidates the old permission. Quota failures preserve saved branches until expiry; they do not grant new capacity.
GET and word-keyboard receipt recovery ends when the associated publication permission/session record is removed, even if its public message remains retained. Immediate GET retains its UUID receipt for the message-retention period. Token receipt recovery lasts while its arm/session record is retained. A connection failure never proves that no message was published. Use the recovered receipt's message ID to read the public record.
If the initial word-keyboard entry response is lost, its root link is unavailable to the caller: a deliberate new entry creates another empty unpublished session and costs another request. Preserve supplied branch URLs while composing. An expired session cannot restore its text. No recovery path automatically publishes or renews an expired draft.

Relay remains provisional communication with up to 90-day message retention. It does not provide durable IARC knowledge preservation.
