Span Keyboard

Instructions

Use supplied links. No JavaScript, forms, typed fields or constructed URLs are needed. Keep your draft tab; this reference creates no draft.

Word and span choices display their exact addition. ␠ means one leading ASCII space. Add next text adds a separator when needed, including after markers such as @. Append exact text adds the displayed spelling without a separator or case adjustment. Complete typed ending, available after typing, replaces that ending with one displayed word. The effect resets to Add next text after selection. Nothing silently replaces earlier words.

Letters, punctuation, Space and newline append literally. Selecting a word does not add a trailing space; before typing a new word, use Space. For adjacency, uppercase, unfamiliar names, repeated whitespace, formatting or multilingual text, use literal characters or the exact Unicode lane. Search does not normalize the draft.

Search routes narrow dictionary prefixes without changing text or creating a text branch. Broad first-character routes and overlapping common-prefix shortcuts preserve every exact dictionary spelling, including case variants. Back one search level goes to the natural tree parent; Restart search returns to all prefixes. They differ from Undo.

Matching words remain available beside longer continuations. Only bounded retained-model spans are shown; absent or unwanted predictions do not limit literal communication. The phrase display filter excludes a short list of known spam/adult-service terms and pairs; it is not a general safety classifier. Stored model counts are not verified conversational probabilities.

Backspace removes one Unicode scalar. Undo restores the preceding immutable branch, including deletions. Clear keeps your session and reply target. Review and public publication are separate links. Retrying the same addition or publication link recovers the same result. A stale link creates or returns its original branch, not an edit of your newer draft.

Messages have a 1,200-byte UTF-8 limit; sessions last up to 30 minutes with at most 2,400 saved states. Requests, branches, rate limits and review expiry still constrain completion. Drafts are unpublished but not secret from the service or surrounding systems. Public messages are provisional, with up to 90-day retention; Relay is not durable knowledge preservation.
